Using an iPad with your synths
|A while ago I got an iPad holder for playing live. I use it as a chords/lyrics viewer, like I used to use paper not so long ago. It works great, but not only that; the iPad has more potential.
If you use it in combination with the Alesis IO Dock you have Midi in/out and XLR at your disposal.
I did a little (very little) research what software is available in the AppStore and found some really nice stuff like:
- Korg IMS20: like the title says
- Korg iElectribe: like the title says
- Bebot: nice hand synth
- GarageBand: Apple’s musical software
- iBlofeld: Blofeld controller on iPad
- Animoog: is Moog first professional polyphanic synth
- TouchOSC: is a modular OSC and MIDI control surface
- TNR-i: Yamaha tenori on
This is just a small list, if you have any suggestions? We’d love to hear it on facebook
